About the role
We are hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead firmware architecture and development for connected products. The role requires deep expertise in C/C++, strong Python automation skills, and extensive hands-on experience with nRF/STM MCUs, RTOS, and BLE. Wearables domain experience is highly preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, production-grade embedded firmware.
- Own critical modules across boot, connectivity, sensor pipelines, and power management.
- Design robust RTOS architecture (task model, timing, fault handling, watchdog strategy).
- Drive BLE subsystem design, interoperability, performance, and certification readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding, testing, and review best practices.
- Define and implement firmware CI/CD, automated testing, and quality gates.
- Troubleshoot complex field issues using logs, traces, and hardware debug tools.
- Work cross-functionally with hardware, mobile, cloud, product, and QA stakeholders.
Required skills
- 4–6 years of relevant embedded systems experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C/C++and strong Python scripting/automation.
- Deep experience with Nordic nRF and/or STM32 ecosystems.
- Strong command of RTOS internals and real-time constraints.
- Proven experience delivering BLE products in production.
- Expertise in debugging at firmware/hardware boundary.
- Strong ownership, design thinking, and communication skills.
Good to have
- Direct experience in wearables (health/fitness/audio/consumer electronics).
- Low-power architecture for battery-operated products.
- OTA/DFU strategy, reliability, and rollback mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth qualification/compliance process.
- Exposure to secure firmware lifecycle (secure boot, key management, signed images).
