About the role
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on experience in C/C++ and Python to build reliable firmware for connected devices. You will work on nRF and STM microcontrollers, RTOS-based systems, and BLE-enabled products. Experience in wearables is a strong plus.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware in C/C++.
- Build test scripts/tools and automation in Python.
- Work with nRF / STM32MCU platforms and board bring-up.
- Implement and optimize RTOS tasks, scheduling, IPC, and memory usage.
- Develop and maintain BLE features (advertising, pairing, GATT services/characteristics, DFU/OTA where applicable).
- Integrate peripherals/interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, ADC, PWM).
- Collaborate with hardware, mobile, cloud, and QA teams for end-to-end product validation.
- Analyze power, performance, and reliability issues; improve battery life and stability.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and release processes.
Required skills
- 2–4 years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Strong programming in C/C++; good scripting in Python.
- Practical experience with Nordic nRF and/or STMicroelectronics STM32.
- Good understanding of RTOS fundamentals (FreeRTOS/Zephyr or similar).
- Solid experience with BLE stack and debugging BLE issues.
- Familiarity with embedded debugging tools (J-Link/ST-Link, logic analyzer, oscilloscope).
- Working knowledge of Git and CI basics.
Good to have
- Experience building wearables or battery-powered IoT devices.
- Exposure to low-power design and optimization.
- Knowledge of secure boot, encryption, and device security basics.
- Experience with manufacturing test firmware and field diagnostics.
